What is Colour Analysis?
Colour Analysis, also known as Personal Colour Analysis or Seasonal Colour Analysis, is a process that helps determine which colours of clothing, makeup, and accessories best complement your natural colouring.
The goal of Colour Analysis is to identify your “pallette” your skin tone, hair colour, and eye colour. This process typically involves the following steps:
Skin Tone Evaluation: Assessing the undertones of the skin, which can be categorised as warm, cool or neutral.
Color Draping: Using fabric swatches in various colours / shades/ tones to drape around your face to observe how different colours affect your complexion. This helps determine which colours make your skin appear radiant and which colours may wash them out.
Identifying Colour Palette: Based on the observations from the draping session, you are categorised into one of the of the 18 Palettes from the Absolute Colour System. This Palette will harmonise with your natural colouring.
Recommendations: Providing personalised recommendations on clothing colours, makeup shades, and accessories that fall within your identified colour palette. This helps you make informed choices when shopping and putting together outfits that enhance your appearance.
